IPM is a dual degree program (Bachelors + Masters) offered by IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Jammu, and IIM Ranchi. The benefit of this course is that it allows students to enter an IIM right after Class 12.
Now, a student aspiring to pursue a career in management need not diverge from his path by going for engineering or law. The IPM course was started in 2011 by IIM Indore.

Currently the following IIMs or Indian Institute of Management provides the 5 years Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) or MBA after 12th:
IIM Indore
IIM Indore is one of the pioneer institutes which began offering the IPM course in India. Launched in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. It is a unique and creative program aimed at students who have passed out of class XII or equivalent from schools across India.
Course Offered: 5 years Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a dual degree programme. It consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years, with each year having 3 terms of 3 months. IPM is in two parts. The first three years build a foundation, and the last two years focus on management.
Seat Intake: 150- IIM Indore currently enrolls students on the basis of their aptitude test scores and past academics. The Sanctioned intake for IPM 2021 batch (Domestic Applicant) is 150.

Course fee: The course fee for resident Indians for the first three years of the IPM would be Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakh) per annum. Course fees for the fourth and fifth years would be as per prevailing Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) fees.
Internships: The IPM students are required to complete a social internship at the end of year 2. In addition to the Social Internship, IPM students do a business internship along with the PGP students between years 4 & 5.
Placements: Average CTC in 2020 is INR 22.9 Lakhs per annum.
Admission Procedure:
The IIM Indore IPM Admission Procedure includes the candidate's score in IPM AT and Personal Assessment (a Personal Interview (PI) or a Video Based Assessment (VBA)).
Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS)

Then, the Shortlisted candidates shall appear for the Personal Assessment.
IIM Indore also expects a consistent and minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Assessment, which will be decided by the Admissions Committee. Candidates not meeting the minimum performance in any of the parameters will not be considered for the next stage of the selection process

IIM Rohtak
In India, IIM Rohtak is the second IIM or Indian Institute of Management to do the same after IIM Indore. Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. It is a comprehensive management program that has a combined course of management studies from undergraduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG).
There is no automatic entry into the fourth and fifth year. The students will have to maintain a minimum CGPA of 5 to be eligible for the last two years of the program to earn a master’s degree. Students below that CGPA will be awarded a BBA degree and will exit the program. Also, if any student voluntarily intends to exit the program after successfully completing the program requirement at the end of 3 years, he/she will be awarded a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
Course Offered: IPM consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years. A year has three terms, each of 3 months duration. The entire program is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year.
IPM Students will be taught by distinguished faculty from IIM Rohtak, other reputed institutions in India and abroad, and industry experts. The teaching pedagogy will be a combination of lectures, case analysis, discussions, exercises and seminars, role plays, management games, project work, and computer-based learning methods.

Online Personal Interview (PI):
- The announcement of Call for Online Personal Interviews (PI) is done after the shortlisting based on the IPM AT scores.
- The candidates during their personal interviews will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.

IPM IIM Rohtak Admissions Latest Update:
IIM Rohtak started the online registration and application process on February 15. The last date to fill the form is May 4 and the exam will be conducted on June 19 from 9 am to 11 am.
The announcement of the Merit/Rank List and sending of Offer Letters to the selected candidates will be done by the Second Week of August 2021. The candidates receiving the offer letter for IIM Rohtak IPM Admission 2021 and accepting the offer within the stipulated date will require to deposit the Offer Acceptance Amount (as mentioned in the offer letter) through an online payment link.
IIM Ranchi
IIM Ranchi has now also announced its IPM Course that will commence from September 2021. The admissions for the same is through Merit list prepared on the basis of IPM AT (IIM Indore)/ SAT Score and Past Academics, WAT and Personal Interview. The Details for the same are mentioned below.
Course Offered: The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of IIM Ranchi is a full-time 5-year blended course of business studies from undergraduate to postgraduate level (Integrated BBA-MBA). Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the programme.
Seat Intake: The intake for IPM 2021-26 batch at IIM Ranchi would be 120 (Reservation applicable as per Government regulations after meeting the minimum eligibility criteria).
Course Fees: The total fees for the first three years of the program will be around INR 14 Lakhs. The fees for the next two years will be equal to the MBA program fees set for that year. These fees do not include hostel room rent and mess charges.

Admission Criteria:
Admission to the IPM 2021 will be based on SAT/IPM AT (IIM Indore) exam scores, a written ability test, a personal interview, and overall academic performance at the secondary and the higher secondary levels. Applicants choosing to appear for multiple tests (SAT/IPM AT (IIM Indore) will be assessed for shortlisting based on their best performance among the tests they have appeared for. First, the candidates need to appear either for the SAT or Scholastic Aptitude Test or IPM AT (IIM Indore), as students for the WAT or written ability test will be selected on the basis of SAT/IPM AT (IIM Indore) Score. The students can appear in the SAT. The exam is held five times a year — March, May, August, October, December. Shortlisted applicants will be called for WA, PI rounds.

IPM IIM Ranchi Admission Latest Updates:
The application process will be closed on June 30 at iimranchi.ac.in. IIM Indore will conduct IPM AT 2021 on July 16, 2021, in the morning shift.
Applicants will be shortlisted based on their SAT/IPMAT 2021(IIM Indore) scores and invited to the next stage. Here you will take a Written Ability Test (WAT) and take a Personal Interview. WAT and PIs will be conducted at six cities: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Ranchi. If the pandemic situation and travel restrictions continue, only the PI process will be conducted virtually online.
Candidates are evaluated based on their performance at all stages and their prior academic performance at the secondary and the higher secondary levels. 120 students with the highest composite scores will be offered admission to the program.
IIM Bodhgaya
IIM Bodhgaya along with IIM Jammu has introduced a 5 years Integrated Programme in Management or IPM course this year. The admission will be conducted through the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test or JIPMAT to be conducted by NTA for the first time in 2021.
Course Offered: IIM Bodhgaya has begun offering a Five Year Integrated Programme in Management. The first three years of the IPM program would be based on the semester system and the last two years would be based on the trimester system (as per the prevailing MBA course structure). \
Seat Intake: The intake for IIMBG-IPM 2021-26 batch would be 50 and additional 10 supernumerary seats for female candidates. Reservation would be applicable as per GoI regulations after meeting the minimum eligibility criteria.

About JIPMAT: Joint Integrated Management Aptitude Test or JIPMAT will be conducted for the first time by NTA or National Testing Agency in 2021. The Score of JIPMAT will be used by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu for preparing their merit list and admission procedure of their respective IPM courses. Students need to apply for JIPMAT and applications to both IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya will be considered. No separate application is required.
It is a Computer Based Test of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. The Examination will have a total of 100 Questions divided into 3 sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension respectively.

IIM Jammu
Along with IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Jammu has started admissions for 5 years Integrated Programme in Management or IPM course. The admission will be conducted through the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test 2021 or JIPMAT 2021 by NTA.
Course Offered: The duration of the IPM Program is five years, where the first three years of the IPM program would be based on the semester system and the last two years would be based on the trimester system (as per the prevailing MBA course structure). At the end of 1st year, students will undertake Boot Camp at Ladakh. In the 2nd Year, students will complete a Social and Corporate internship. During the 3rd year, the students will enroll in an international exchange program with one of the partner institutions based on merit and course norms.
Additionally, in the 3rd Year of the program, students will have the option to select a sector-specific specialization. The course structure after the sixth semester will be merged with the flagship MBA program of the Institute and students will be required to meet the academic rigor of the MBA program. A minimum CGPA of 6.00 would be required to continue into the MBA program.
Seat Intake: The intake for IIMBG-IPM 2021-26 batch would be 50 and additional 10 supernumerary seats for female candidates. Reservation would be applicable as per GoI regulations after meeting the minimum eligibility criteria.

The admissions to the Integrated BBA-MBA Degree Program will be made considering the CLAT (2021)/IPMAT – 2021 (IIM Indore)/IPMAT – 2021 (IIM Rohtak)/JIPMAT - 2021(IIM Jammu & IIM Bodhgaya)/JEE - 2021 (Mains), Academic credentials, and Personal Interview. Based on merit at the admission test and performance in the 10th and 10+2 or equivalent examination, the candidates will be short-listed for the personal interviews. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the candidate may choose to submit the best one as per his/her choice.
